Grupo Control Inteligente

The Intelligent Control Thematic Group of the Spanish Committee on Automatic Control (CEA) focuses on the study and development of control techniques that incorporate reasoning, learning and decision-making capabilities inspired by artificial intelligence. This field encompasses methodologies that enable the handling of complex, non-linear or uncertain systems using advanced computational tools. Techniques of interest include expert systems, fuzzy logic, artificial neural networks, neuro-fuzzy systems, machine learning and other computational intelligence approaches applied to automatic control. These methodologies are used in a wide range of fields, such as robotics, energy, industrial processes, autonomous systems and smart infrastructure. The group promotes scientific exchange and collaboration between researchers and professionals in the field, and organises the annual Intelligent Control Symposium, a forum where recent advances in this field are presented and discussed.
